*Please note: Credentialed Nutrition Providers may provide telehealth nutrition services to patients located in Texas without holding a Texas license, provided they comply with Texas title-protection requirements and do not otherwise represent themselves as licensed in the state of Texas in any manner. A Texas license is required if using the “Licensed Dietitian” title. If you prefer not to see Texas-based patients, please email [email protected] to let us know.
To be eligible to apply for a dietitian license, you must first successfully complete two examinations: (1) the licensing exam and (2) the Texas Jurisprudence exam. You must provide documentation showing a passing score on the exam when you apply for a new license.
There are four modules with videos in each you must watch. There are exams after the second, third, and fourth modules, and they give you the law/rule to reference during the exam, so you don’t need to take notes during the course.
