Texas
**Texas has certification that allows for MNT telehealth services, HOWEVER, if you would like to get In-network with Texas state insurance plans, licensure is required.**
To be eligible to apply for a dietitian license, you must first successfully complete two examinations: (1) the licensing exam and (2) the Texas Jurisprudence exam. You must provide documentation showing a passing score on the exam when you apply for a new license.
There are four modules with lots of videos in each you have to watch. There are exams after the second, third, and fourth modules, and they give you the law/rule to reference during the exam, so you don’t need to take notes during the course.
