Online:

  1. Permanent License:

    1. Register for an account, apply online, and submit the application fee here.

    2. To apply for a new application, click on "To Apply for a Dietitian License" in the left column.

  2. Temporary License:

    1. Register for an account, apply online, and submit the application fee here

      1. To receive a temporary license in Nevada, you must be registered as a licensed dietitian in another state. Your out-of-state license and registered dietitian status must be in good standing.

      2. Valid for the 10-day period designated on the license.

      3. Please allow for 15 working days processing time.

After You Apply - What to Expect

  • Processing Time - Allow up to 30 days for processing initial license applications.

  • When can I start practicing?

    • You may start practicing with the temporary license while waiting for permanent licensure approval, or can use the temporary license for the approved 10-day period as indicated on license.

Renewal

A license to engage in the practice of dietetics expires 2 years after the date of issuance.

    1. To renew your license, log in to the Online Licensing System and then click "Renew" on the welcome screen.
