# Berry Street Provider Handbook

## Welcome to Berry Street!

At Berry Street, our mission is to expand access to nutrition therapy by bridging the gap between credentialed nutrition providers and individuals seeking healthier, happier lives. We believe everyone deserves personalized, insurance-covered care, and that Providers should have the opportunity to serve the communities they’re passionate about—not just those who can afford out-of-pocket services.

This handbook provides an essential overview of Berry Street’s organizational policies, code of conduct, and procedures. It is designed to support you in understanding our values, professional expectations, and operational practices. Inside, you'll find guidance on the systems that shape how we collaborate, communicate, and deliver services. Whether you are new to Berry Street or looking to deepen your understanding, this guide will help you navigate your role with clarity and confidence.

You may have already seen our Two-Way Pledge during onboarding, but we’re sharing it [here](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jOlWldGTQV-xAi8gARgvI-J5xgHxIAVW/view) for your reference. We look forward to supporting you every step of the way!

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://handbook.berrystreet.co/berry-street-provider-handbook.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
