A patient is a person with a disease, illness, injury, or medical condition which requires nutritional interventions as an essential component of standard care of the person.

If you provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in Nebraska, services must be performed under the consultation of a physician licensed in Nebraska.

After You Apply - What to Expect

  • When can I start practicing?

    • No person shall practice medical nutrition therapy unless he or she is licensed for such purpose pursuant to the Uniform Credentialing Act.

Renewal

All licenses expire September 1st of odd-numbered years.

How to Renew:

You will receive a notification at least 30 days before your license renewal date in the mail.
